St. Tropez - Gradual Tan Body MEDIUM/DARK

Once I saw this on the Feel Unique website I simply had to have it. At around £14 for a 200ml bottle, with the house hold name ‘St. Tropez’ on it, I couldn’t see a reason not to get it! It combines a wonderfully nourishing body moisturiser, which for someone like me who has fairly dry body skin is perfect (the aloe vera working it’s usual wonders) with a noticeable amount of bronze.  With it being a gradual tanner you can work up your colour, applying daily or every other. It also doesn’t have the tell-tale fake tan smell, hoorah!

Like any other tan I exfoliate before applying this product, getting rid of the dead skin cells to ensure the tan lasts as long as possible. It also doesn’t matter if you go over the same body part twice as the only places that will look uneven are the places missed. I use this tan around twice a week and after application I wait until it dries completely before I get dressed, yes that does involve being nakey nakey for a little while in your bedroom but it has to be done. I also make sure I wash my hands after, in between the fingers ect as orange hands can and will happen if you don’t!

I myself am quite a fair skinned lass, yet I bought the medium/dark one because I want something that will 100% show colour. I can be rather lazy so a simple gradual tan that has good colour payoff is amazing as appose to wacking out the mitt & mousse and having to sleep a sticky smelly mess. So over all this is another amazing product and if you’re looking for a new gradual tan to try, then this one works a treat and is well worth a try!

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush - ADORED

A little while ago now, my wonderful Granddad who has a fair few pennies jetted off to Canada to visit some of his old friend’s and have a general break from the norms of England! And of course being the lovely man that he is he asked if I would like anything, not one to turn down such a great offer I put together a little list, wished him luck on his travels and waved him good bye for two weeks (He’s my father figure so we’re very close!).One item that was on the list was Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush in the shade Adored. It’s a long wearing, solar-baked blush which last’s up to an impressive 12 hours. I have combination/oily skin, so this blush minimizes oil in and around pores to balance my skin and keep the product in place and supposedly those with dryer skin benefit from its nourishing and hydrating properties.

This is my ‘use daily’ blush purely because it’s so gorgeous! A soft gentle pink which helps create the natural girly look I love. It lasts hours on my skin, I’m not sure if it lasts the stated 12 hours because I never wear make-up for that long! But my oh my is it lovely! Soft with a matte finish, for an oily badger like me its heaven! I am also in love with the packaging! A nice chunky make-up item with a perfect sized mirror for on the go! I have been chucking it in my bag willy nilly for week’s not and it still looks perfect.

All in all it is a fabulous product! If you’re ever going to America/Canada then do pick one up! My Granddad purchased mine from Sephora and the cute little freebies they hand out are always welcome! It’s not the cheapest blush around retailing at $25.00 which is around £16 over here, but it’s a lot of blusher and a definite 10/10 so in my eyes its money well spent!
